Just read an article on "Utilizing Genealogy Software"...I couldn't agree more. I often teach beginner genealogy classes and I do demonstrate how to use a pedigree chart and family group sheet but I always add the comment, "Using the computer to record your genealogy is the best way to go, it has a lot more memory and is much more organized!".
