My 5x great grandfather, Andrew Munroe was not at the Battle of Lexington. He had died in 1766, and his wife had remarried to Caleb Simonds in 1774. I learned about this idea from Martin Holleck at the “Slovak Yankee” blog. He posted a list of compiled genealogies that contain his closest ancestors.
