This is my ancestor that connects me from the USA to England
John Marsh was born April 1618 in Braintree, Essex, England, he is believed to have come to New England in 1635 when 17 years of age to Cambridge on Charles River by the bay, then laid out for the capital of Massachusetts, and called Newtown, and now included in the ‘Greater Boston” area.

My married name is Cummings. I always think it's interesting when I see the same surnames show up in the past. I'm sure there is no connection though.
