Hi Helen. My grandmother, a widow, married John Bellis inabout 1900. She had 6 of his children. He brought the whole family to the U.S. in June of 1912. The 6th child was born in Gary, Indiana in 1916. His mother died in1918, he was adopted, and as an adult moved to Idaho. The family originated in West Hartlepool, Durham County, England.

Hi, Helen. Henry Tillett who married Mary Brewer was my gr-gr-grandfather. His father was Samuel Tillett m. Pleasant Ann Acton. Samuel's parents were Giles Tillett and Honour (last name unknown). Giles parents were Samuel Tillett (b. abt. 1724) m. Ann Barry. Are these Tilletts part of your line?
