Hi evelym - Thanks for your inquiry. I have never done any research of that type in Dauphin Co. although I was born there. A good guess would be the Historical Society. You might aslk on rootsweb message boards or look at the usgenweb.org page for Dauphin. I was trying to think on something to do a chat about and Hessians would be a good idea. Sorry I can't help you much. By the way, do you have any Butts relatives in Harrisburg? My mom lived next door to a Bill Butts who was an Assistant Fire Chief in Harrisburg. I can't remember his wife's name. This was back in the early 1980's. I think they ended up moving to Florida.
