I noticed your surname, Nesbit. That is one of the names in a line of my family I am researching, in Illinois, Ky and Tn. Other names are Smith, Campbell, Hadden, Brewer. Are any of these names in your lineage?
Donna, I have a Martha Rymer that married Duncan McQuain. Don't know the dates on her, but Duncan was the son of Alexander and Mary (Botkin) McQuain. Duncan was born in 1783, and died in 1862. His mother Mary was born in Highland County, Virginia. Perhaps this is earlier than you want, but this group eventually ended up in Ohio, Illinois and Indiana.
I received a message today from Genealogy Wise that you had left a comment for me. However, I was unable to locate it on that site. I am a new member of this organization & perhaps don't know my way around the site as yet. Please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Saw your post in Illinois genealogy. Is this your Henry Rymer you think?
