- I am not an expert but I am really good at research on the internet and at my local library. I live on the opposite coast (Oakland California) from where my ancestors hail from (New England).
A vast amount of genealogy related information has never been computerized so where available I use the inter-library loan system to access relevant micro-fiche historical documents predominately from University libraries thou not until I am able to afford a few (2-4) months "ancestral quest" sabbatical back east so that I can access records that can only be found in person locally
