Hi Troy, This is from the Los Angeles Times, 16 Dec. 1942:

Official Death List

Frost, Thomas J.      age 78       died Dec. 9

That is all I could find in the LA Times. Obits seem to be rather rare in LA. I have looked for others. I got this via a search at Ancestry.com.

Tony my Gilstraps ended up in MO. They are related to the Barrow family.
