Origins of McCall Family

Our branch of the McCall family originated in Kirkmichael in Ayrshire. Our Earliest known ancestor is David McCall and his wife who we believe was Mary Fergusson. Their son, John McCall, married Jean Marr in December 1820 and they were the owners of the Wheatsheaf Inn, in Monkton in the mid 1800's. Some of their children migrated to Australia, others to America. We would be delighted to find others who descend from these McCalls and share the information we have re this family.
