Recent ancestry has to be done through research of census, documents etc.

- Actually the frequency is even lower; around 2%. It is referred to as the ' viking ' geneas the largest concentrations today are in Finland, NOrway, Denmark and the Baltic region. It is suggested that this 'mutation' appeared before the last glacial Ice age and it is designated I as the group split off from what is now Iran 25,000 years ago. The were hunter gatherers at that time and migrated across the Steppes of Russia to the Baltic region. There they migrated along the shores of the Baltic (then an inland see); prehaps across 'Doggerland" into British Isles. Look up Doggerland. Amber comes from the Baltic region exclusively and was traded several thousands years ago down the European River systems as far as Egypt and China.
Peoples 10,000 years ago were much more sophisticated than we normally preceive. today we do not just view Mediterranian culture, but Atlantian cultures. Hap I is an Atlantian culture and one of the most advanced. Unfortunately after the last Ice Age the Atlantic rose almost 200 feet and the gradual deluge covered most of the settlements of these people where were located along the shorelines of the Atlantic. They are just now piecing together with new technology the remnants of these peoples habitations.
Some look ups to check out are: Nordic bronz age, Ertebolle culture,Trundholm sun chariot,nebra sky disc, golden hat or Avanton gold cone, Doggerland, and last at the beginning of the Hap I group age, the Ain Sakhir lovers.
