Irish Research Help from Ireland

Irish Research Help, I have found and she has given permission to share this knowledge here.

This is a really helpful site for Irish researchers.  It is the first of it's kind that I have found not saying there are not

others out there.  Two main goals, I like them both.

  1. It is a free digital Genealogical Community. It publishes a digital magazine to share. It is 70 pages free of charge.

   2. The monthly contributors are a mix of professional…

Hi Susan

I have not found any Powell lines in PA that connect to the Duval line in MD. Mine strictly seem to be in the  original settlement of  Bethpage, Long Island, NY and later some moved to Dutchess Co., Westchster Co., Steuben Co, and Saratoga Co., NY     Most seemed to have remained in Saratoga and Stueben Counties, however, my direct line left NY and settled first in Wisconsin and then some left to settle  in Iowa circa 1859 and subsequently stayed there for a good 4 generations or longer. Sorry I am not able to connect to the MD Powell/Duval lines.

Susi, Not that we know of. Most of hubby's family is from Tenn, Va, KY and Ohio. Unless someone moved out there that I haven't found yet in my research.

Don't believe it was me unless on AOL. All I have is for sharing to others that share. My Powell is not very extensive but starts in Erie County, Pa and ends up on long Island. Send E-mail Addy to me at BishTreeClimber@aol.com

Hi Susi - I think Stormy's hematoma is a little different than what you had. Hisa came from scratchiong his ears or shaking his head and was like a blood bruise. He is healing now. Just not happy wearing his head gear. I will write to Deb West. Perhaps she is related. My grgrandmother was Lucy West. I have a Wolford discussion group here and Ray ios a member. Thanks for writing.

Hi Susi - I got email where you asked about Stormy. He had ear surgery yesterday and is not a happy camper. He has to wear one of those collars that looks like an upside down lampshade. He had a hematoma in his ear flap and they drained that. Thanks for asking.
