I too attend the First Parish Church in Derry. Sorry about the mixup. I need your help in understanding this. Bart Shepard was organist at First Parish, yet Alan Shepard attended the Christian Science church? According to the folks at the Christian Science church, that's where he went as a child in Derry. If not, you will need to speak with them because they have it on their website, also it was in Tom Wolfe's "Right Stuff" and on his official NASA bio. I've corrected it here, and on my blog in the meantime, since I'll take you as a better source for now.
