When you log into Fanily TreeDNA, look up top categories and click "Projects" then "join" then go down to mtDNA HAPLOGROUP PROJECTS join "H", There are so many tools that you can use to learn about your ancestors like MitoSearch.org compare results within Family Tree DNA's sponsored mitochondrial public database. Also you can download your "x" chromosomes and autosomal results to gedmatch.com, which is a great tool. Also, I am a participant in the National Geographic Project. I may have asked, but do you have ancestral ties to North Carolina or Virginia?

Yes, our group has limited research in that it started outside of Europe leaving Iberia and then entering Europe. I have had a mtdna full Sequence done so I have been assigned a subgroup. Have you joined the haplogroup H10 at Famiy TreeDNA and Haplogroup H on Facebook. I belong to many groups in that they are very resourceful and social venues for genealogy and genetic research. I am happy to see another Haplogroup H10. My subgroup is H10e2. I am also interested in the surname Moore as it seems to pop-up within my group often. I am particular interested in Rita Moore, Camelia Moore(Virginia)and a Sarah Moore Halle (Staten Island, NY). I have seen Griffith, Trammel and Nation, also while researching.
