- Sharon did you try to find my tree on ancestry.com ? It's public so you be able to view it. Both of my Attaway lines are documented relatively well. Carl's father was Albert Fletcher Attaway from Elbert Co. Ga.

My GF was Carl Attaway (1902-1963). His Attaway family settled in the Elbert Co Ga area (NE Ga) in the 1800s.
I also have an Attaway line on my paternal side. They lived in Burke Co. Ga in the 1800's. I know almost nothing about them.
I have a tree at Ancestry.com you can look at The Matthew Collins Tree.
I would love to find an Attaway cousin to provide a DNA sample. I have a few out there somewhere but I don't know them. If I ever meet them I will ask for DNA.
