Hi again Russ, The Wood ancestors I've learned about were in Ohio, then earlier in Pennsylvania, then earlier in England. So far as I know, none of my hubby's Wood relatives lived in Georgia. I haven't actually done this research myself. Yesterday, you and I chatted about source used by a compiler for Internet material; compiler's email address was no longer operational. I tinkered wth the site; developed a "source of the source" reference, then traced that item to WorldCat.
Your note to me this date referenced a marriage record at ScotlandsPeople.Com; I'm not farmiliar with that site; don't recall or didn't know that record you were seeking. Sorry.

Although I'm not familiar with the Internet site you menion, I'm sorry your efforts didn't work out as you'd hoped.
I'm not sure what records ScotlandsPeople.Com makes available. Often time, Internet sites provide indexed entries that refer to more detail parish or civil records. In those case, using the detail from the indexed entry, you can often located the underlying entries and order a full record. Not sure if these circumstance related to the information you did view at ScotlandsPeople.Com.
