Hello, we are a family of Couture's from Waterford, NY.  Guillaume is my 9th great grandfather.   We have been to many of the places that he was taken by the Mohawks.  We live on the Mohawk River by the sacred falls.  We even speak a little Kanyek'keha, as did Guillaume when he lived at Tionnontoguen.

my Zacherie Cloutier and Xainte Dupont are my 12th great grandparents.  He was born in Dec 1590 and died in Sept of 1677.  She was born C 1596 and died in June of 1680 (both died in Chateau Richer).

My ancestor the son of Guillaume Couture and Anne Emard is Guillaume married to Madeleine Cote.

I'm actually related to Guillaume Couture (1618-1701) in two ways: he is both my 8th Great-Grandfather and my 9th Great-Grandfather. Both of these lines come from his 7th child Guillaume Couture (1662-1738)
