Here are some of my places:
Edwin H. Partridge b abt 1826 in Staverton/Cheltenham m. Hannah Cornwell b. abt 1820 in Upton Bishop, Gloucestershire. Edwin H appears in the 1841 census in Churchdown, Gloucestershire, in the 1851 census in Boddington, Gloucestershire, in 1861 census in Staverton Village, in 1871 in Boddinton, and in 1881 in Clifton, Bristol. In the 1841 census his occupation is "M.J." -- any idea of what that might be? In later censuses he is an agricultural labourer and a gardener.
Their son Henry, who was a twin to Edwin, is my gr-gr grandfather. He was born in about 1850 in Staverton Village.
