Always been uncertain about my Father. My parents split up before I was born. My mother said I was his, he said I was his, but, I don't look like him. Had Ancestry DNA done and FTDNA also YDNA. No results from Y test at 37 markers. I am from Scotland and lived in USA for 4 years.

I wish I knew for sure where in Scotland my Mitchells are from - if I am correct it was Glasgow and they were here shortly before the American Revolutionary War. I know the Scotts were in North Carolina (possibly from Perth) even earlier.
I have had my autosomal DNA - don't have any male relatives to take the Y test - and the results are R1b1b2a1a1d1. My mt test has been done a couple of times and is U5a1b1.
If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. I am totally brickwalled here.
