"Searching for information on Dory (Theodore) Irvin (Irwin, Ervin) born 1787 MD but was in KY by 1840. The birth info comes from later census records.Father could have been James but unsure. He married Elizabeth Wims (Weems). Any help appreciated."

Looking for subjects for case studies in African-American genealogy research

As many of you know, I write the African-American Genealogy Examiner column at Examiner.com. Between how-to articles and news, I am at no loss for subject matter.
