Thank you for your inquiry about Udo Thoerner's Venne in America. I counted 8 Rittmann's in the index pages of the book that give Indiana as the destination of them all. I haven't taken time to check out the chapter on Bartholomew County, Indiana, but I'm sure Udo added more info on them there. You can order the book from Cathy Wurth, Family Tree Tours, 2111 Martina Drive, Washington, MO 63090 for $32 (includes $4 postage), check to Cathy Wurth. Cathy is friend of the author and was sent a small supply of books before they were sent to the Hamilton County Chapter of Ohio genealogical Society, so we are trying to sell her supply first.
