Mary Harrington
My grandmother was Mary Harrington. I believe her mother was Ellen possibly nee Calnan. She lived near the Old Head of Kinsale in an area known in Griffith's Valuation (1850s) as Ringrone. I have learned that the Harrington name is very common in the SW of Cork. I believe my grandmother's family had their births registered in Castletownberehaven on the Beara Peninsula but from what I can gather this was the regional centre for Catholic records.
