If you are a genealogy expert, what are your specialties?
LDS history in Arizona, New Mexico and the Mexico Mormon Colonies. I also teach online family history classes at local public library. Teaching and using US census records is one of my specialities.
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
I inherited my grandmother's family history records 40 years ago. I'm also very interested in compiling and preserving individual personal histories and family pictures. I've compiled two family history books and am working on my third.

Actually I was born in Pennsylvania. My Dad served in the Army. But both my parents' families had been in Idaho for generations for the most part. Here's some data on my grandmother. Rebecca June Parker was born 25 May 1915 in Bennington, Bear Lake, Idaho and died 26 Apr 1996 in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho. If you need any further information on our branch of the family, just let me know. :)

I come through Nephi's son James Gaston b.1901. My mother was the only daughter of James Gaston.
