Profile Information

What surnames are you interested in researching?
Gilmore, DuBell, Garner, Stephens, Brooks, allied families!
What countries and other locations are you interested in researching?
Scotland, The Netherlands
What is your level of genealogy knowledge?
Advanced Family History Researcher
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
While visiting family one of my aunts brought up her grandfather John DuBell and told a story about how he came from Holland and cut off all ties to his family there. I have always loved history and a mystery like that was screaming to be solved. While we were there I started asking questions and writing things down! I wish I had "known what I was doing" back then, because I would have asked better questions! I know now that most of us have that regret about something, don't we?
