Bruce,
I have an old copy of RM on the laptop, but I used RM 4 to go on the flash drive. So you are saying it is trying to save to RM3 on the laptop?
Linda
I use togo on my laptop, and RM4 on my desktop. Togo ALWAYS tries to save my data on the C drive on my laptop. So I have to be sure to change the location to the usb drive everytime I close it. If I am not careful, it will be on the C drive and NOT…
I have RM4 on my desktop PC. I use RM To Go when I am working on my laptop. But yes, the links show up as broken then. Which is frustrating. And I can't add media files when I am using TO GO on the laptop. I have worked around that by uploading…
A year or two ago, I was suckered into giving FTM another try. I used it for 6-8 months and entered data. Sometimes I would open both programs, kinda a side-by-side comparison. I have since gone back to RM 3, and intend to upgrade to RM 4 soon.…
Just a comment concerning dates----I have noticed if I have a birth date entered, say "January 1, 1900", then I enter a death date of say "Thursday, January 1, 1990", RM may totally disreguard the death field for certain reports.…

And just to warn you, it can be addicting...just a bit...
Have a good birthday.
Do you know where to begin your research? Just ask if you need some help.

From what I have found - James Marshall HALL married Diana SIPE near Harmony, PA. James and Diana move to Lawrence County PA, where they raised their children and both died in that county (New Castle). James Marshall HALL's father is reported to be John M Hall, mother is a Margaret Elizabet Hannah. James Marshall HALL was born in Washington County, I have found there is a will for John Hall at the Lawrence county courthouse, which I am trying to obtian copies of.
Here is my tree in ancestry, if you are interested. I believe that all the HALL children from James and Diana, remained in Lawrence County. As did his siblings, but you never know.
