Your great great grandfather James Steele(25.May 1805 kirkconnell-13Feb1882
Bitter Creek,Sweetwater)was a younger brother to great great grandmother
Isabel Spence nee Steele.I am a bit confused about your ggg.According to my papers,he married Elizabeth Kerr around 1825 and had at least a daughter Ann and
James(1826-56)who left Scotland and died in Heber,Utah and Bitter Creek. But he
married again in1847 a Jane Kay and had 6 children:James,Christiana,Janet&Jane(twins),John and Andrew .All of them are born in Kirk Connell, but did they stay?Or did they all leave for the States? Most of them died in the first half of the 20th century but I can´t find where.Do you have an idea?
