What surnames are you interested in researching?
Anderson, Bell, Bridges, Chapman, Cook, Dillon, Dyson, Johnson, Kilpatrick, King, Lefroy, McNair, Morgan, Nicholls / Nicholson, Norman, O'Connor, Olsen, O'Sullivan / Sullivan, Ramage, Roberts, Smith, Wotton
What countries and other locations are you interested in researching?
Australia (NSW), England, Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Wales
What is your level of genealogy knowledge?
Intermediate Family History Researcher
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
I am trying to put together, (electronically) the progress of my Mother's 30 years of hard work in Family (& local) History reseach. Her progress was slow as there were no online facilities or indexes or Family Tree software to aide her in her mission. All was done by various trips to Record offices, Libraries, Genealogical & Family History Societes all around NSW & by writing many, many letters to anyone who may help.
I have inherited all her photos, papers & letters & am trying to make sense & order as well as conserve all these treasures! A big job indeed, with a long way to go!
