Hi, Linda. Wilson was my husband's stepfather, so we haven't really researched that line. Dick's name was Oglesby. I'm a Manes and my great-grandfather John Riley Manes was born in either Franklin or Jefferson County, Missouri and my grandfather Thomas Oliver Manes was born in Jefferson County.

My Wendt Family is from Belle, Lippe, Germany. They married into the Beine family which came over in the 1850's. Louisa Wendt Married Christopher Beine, and her father (I'm trying to still read the German script, I just got the records a few days ago.) Married into the Wendt Family and changed his last name. I just have barely started to scratch the surface with the family, since I just got into the German records.
