Have you come across a Elizabeth Mckinally  alias Mcaully  (various spellings) who married a James Baxter probally in the mid 1800's.  They had at least one child. Margaret (Maggie) Baxter.  2 of Margaret (Maggie) Baxter's children had as a forename, Aitchison. Which is not in their father's James (McNay) line  Maggie. James McNay and Maggie Baxter were married in Ayrshire, Scotland  in 1897.

This is a long story.

Thanks

Dona Crawford
