Hello Kenneth, I am researching Ducharmes from Canada and Michigan. So far my research takes me to Canada, I don't know if there is a New York connection. My great grandfather's father came from France, but I don't know where and I don't know any further back than him. Hopefully, you will be able to help and there may be some information that I have that may help you.

Isn't this awesome, Kenneth? One thing I did which seems to have opened some avenues for me was to go to the Members tab and type in the surnames I was researching, one at a time. People who have entered these same surnames will pop up and then I asked for an add. It's an interesting and exciting process. Don't forget to add your mother's maiden name as well. Welcome!
