Josh, Those Jacobs were not ours, I'm sorry to say.  And, I don't know your cousin.  Sierra Vista is not a very big town, and some days I think I know everyone, but I don't.

Josh, Thanks for writing!  I am interested in my husband's Taylors, although I do wax and wane on that research.   I connected with some of his cousins, and we are all stuck on Jacob Taylor, b 1805 in Virginia d 1872 in Monroeville Indiana.

Hi Josh,

I saw your post regarding Henry Cooper. I have some paper files I can look through for you. My ancestor, Joseph Greenwood, served in Haslet's 1st DE and then later in some militia units in DE and MD during the American Revolution. Right after the war ended he moved to Rowan County, NC. Perhaps they knew each other or move down with the same group. I know there are other families from that area that also made the trip.
