Joel,

Thanks for your help. . I am planning to spend some time in Salisbury NC on Wednesday to see what else I can find there on land transactions and other activity to better pin down when Henry Cooper arrived in Rowan Co NC , and then will also be in Delaware the following week.

What denomination of church?

Any ideas on making lineage groups palatable for more people? I've tried to address it in the SAR and some change has occurred. I don't know which variables are barriers for which people, but interest would be one that may be easiest to address. I don't want this to get too long & drawn out, but perhaps new outside ideas to bring in would help.

Any ideas on the reasons for migration? Lineage groups by their nature create positive and negative impressions. Also, people join for different reasons. I fit better when I joined and hopefully that will comeback with time.

Towns in Germany- Oberfranken (1682 birth, apparently), Windberg, Krefeld, & Kaldenkirchen.

I find it can be difficult both with researchers and in lineage groups. In Germany, I have some towns- need to get records. 1 line is from an 1890s? immigration. The rest immigrated in the 17th & 18th centuries.

In NC, it's Surrey & Rowan- migrations 1750s & 1790s & possibly another migration time from PA.
