Unless you've got long ties to Berkeley county and the handful of surnames that were there (I think there were actually two full pedigree charts) then you're right. We ended up walking around the street fair after about 30 minutes inside the church.

I went by that 'fair' this morning - it was just as I thought, mostly local family history and a DAR table. Not a bad thing.. for me, It was nice just to be around some other people who share similar interests, even if we are researching in totally different areas!

I have no idea what it will involve - it could just be a small local thing, theres really not much information available at the Historical Soc. website. I wish they would tell us more. Either way, it's great to see SOMETHING here in our local area and I'll visit to see what it's all about just the same.
