So I will talk to her about it she has done some research for me latley and she got me back to Robert but we don't know where he was born. We probably do have a connection a long way back. The name is still quite common in that area. Small world isn't it

I have traced my Pavey's back to about 1730 and Robert Pavey who died in Whitestaunton in 1801 he was married to Sarah and had children in baptised in Whitestaunton between 1758 and 1775. They did move round the area a bit they lived in Wambrook, Dorest for a couple of generation and my grandfather was born at Downlands Devon.
