Vincent Tapp is my ancestor who fought in the RevWar. I have some Howell's who extend back that far, but haven't made any connection to the war. They came to North Carolina from Virginia, and before that, from England 1600s.

All my geneology information is in Fort Collins, Colorado and I am in Colorado Springs. When I get back to Fort Collins, I will send you an email with the additional information that I have.

I am not a member of ancestry.com. When I retire, which I hope will be in 3 years, I plan to spend time on finding my family. But, now that you have surfaced, I may want to get into this sooner than later.
