Thank you for your message. Yes, William Reynolds was my grandfather. He and his wife Matilda, had three children: Ruth who died as an infant, Florence and my dad Ernest William Reynolds. All my geneology information is in Fort Collins, Colorado and I am in Colorado Springs. When I get back to Fort Collins, I will send you an email with the additional information that I have.

Hello, I saw your posting about Bushrod Tapp. My father, Ernest Williams Reynolds, is a descendant of Bushrod Tapp. My dad was born to William Reynolds and Matilda Lindblom October 7, 1906 in Joy, Illinois. I have some letters and documents pertaining to the Tapp family and Bushrod Tapp's separation from the military. Are you a member of the Tapp or Essex families? Thank you.
