Hi Heather

I am trying to get more McIntoshs to join the McIntosh DNA project and am offering to pay for a 37 marker yDNA test for male McIntoshs (any spelling) with FamilyTreeDNA.  I can explain the details regarding the test and privacy protection.  There are some McIntoshs (possible relatives) who migrated to Vic, Aust that I was interested in contacting, that's how I found your site in a search.  Hope this is not an intrusion.  email lochmoigh at xtra dot co dot nz.

Google 'McIntosh DNA project' to see the results.

Hi Heather,

Just wondering if you are related to the McIntosh family from Yackandanda. I am helping a lady at work who's family is from that region.

I tracked back to William John McIntosh abt 1766 Scotland, married to a Margaret Hutchinson, thier youngest son John McIntosh b: 1807 Ireland migrated to Aust and is married to Arabella (Isabella) Fields.

If this is your link let me know.

Hi Heather thank you for your reply about Amherst cemetery. knowing my luck with the Pankhurst family I wiuld have been surprised if I could find a tombstone there for Dorcas. My GG Grandfather was a man of mystery. He had at least 6 kids including my g Grandfather Walter the only one i had found birth records was Dorcas. It is as if he never registered any of the others Heather
