"Yes, the pictures are digital. There are four pages of entries in the Bible, tho some are repetitive. Besides Hannah, other children of Oliver and Francis are listed: Ann, David and Jonathan. Also some of the Rush family from…"
"The Drake Researcher, Oliver Drake was quite active in his research dating from the 1940's -up through the early 1970's.
Had had been on the Board of Directors for the NJ Genealogical Society, and followed Russell Bruce Rankin as Editor of…"
Did your cousin take digital photos of the pages? If so, you received copies - correct? If so, that is awesome! If they are not digital =- maybe they could get the Bible down (again) and make digital photos. Check and see if there is any…"
"WOW, Daniel! That's great!
I have tried to piece the connections together with what is on the web, but,
as you can tell, there are still gaps in my info. I have suspected for a long time that Oliver and Elizabeth were brother and…"
"Hello, Nancy! You are SO close, very close to having it literally all come together.
Tomorrow evening, I will attempt to get some contact info for you -regarding one of your cousins.
Here's what I can tell you in a synopsis:
"Sorry, I just assumed there was a connection between Sir Francis and Captain Francis. Should never assume! Thanks for the info.

Diane, In 2009 - you made a reference to Drakes and Bruce having a connection.
Now, I have no idea of the previous discussion which this was part of - but I have been trying to figure out my own Drake/Bruce connection with little success. (William Sutton Drake apparently married a Jane Bruce - approximately 1837/38. He was from Sussex/Warren County, NJ; They both resided there until her death in abt 1853/54.)
Haven't been able to locate her parents, family, etc...
Do you know much about Jonathan's brother Benjamin Glazier b: 1750 d: 1827? I think he is the father of my ancestor Asa Glazier. Benjamin married first Elizabeth Pepper and then Lydia Cummings. Asa named one of his sons Benjamin Cummings Glazier. Benjamin ended up in Virgil, Cortland, NY and Asa ended up in Cherry Valley, Otsego, NY. The only other Glazier in Otsego County is Jacob Glazier who married Mary Whitcomb; I have not been able to find any of his children.
Welcome to the Wixon-Wickson Families group! I'm putting some thought into how to organize this from the beginning to make it as useful as possible for what I know are many and varied Wickson family lines. It would be great if you have any thoughts or ideas to contribute, and I'd like to hear about your Wickson ancestry/lines/research.
