   My Aunt Gretchen, who was a college librarian, lived to be 104 years young. Her sister Mary is 96 years young. We have longevity on Robert's line of Melchers. Aunt Gretchen did alot of research before the internet. Pat White, Kent's wife, sent her several great great grandparent's information before her death seven years ago.

   I recently visited Weatherford, Tx., where is pottery was. Robert and Ann are bured just west of the movie star Mary Martin. We have several family pieces of pottery which we treasure. It barely escaped damage when my grandmother Gertrude's home was destroyed in a tornado sixty years ago.
