There was a Thrasher Church when I lived in Vinton VA. Don't remember the denomination, but probably named for a family.

My grandmother was a Thrasher and had several sisters. Her mother was the daughter of Otho D. My grandfather Albert Jackson was born in Charleston, MO October 2, 1902. The Charleston Missouri court house burned down with all the records. I don't know who grandpa's mother/father are for sure. I am looking!
