Hi I am researching Turners in early Maryland. Samuel Turner grandson of Edward Turner. He married Verlinda McPherson daughter of Alexander McPherson. Anyway just wanted to let you all know what I am currently researching, and see if anyone else is looking into this family or related families

Found the thread it is in the Turner surname list I tried to copy and paste but it wouldn't let me.  It is the Turners in Clay county.  It isn't to far down the list and it was easy to find

Hi Deanna there was a Louis C Turner, he was my husbands G uncle and I am not sure what his wife's name was.  Do you know what years we would be talking about?  I know someone is Seelyville that might know something about the McPherson family.  I will see if I can get in contact with him.  Do you know about the Genealogical Society in Clay county?  They have tons of information on both Clay and Vigo County.  Here is there website http://www.ccgsilib.org/  Also if the were married in Clay County at one time Bowling Green was the county seat and the court house burned and of course all the records were lost.  another place to try is the Indiana State Library in Indianapolis..Are you local?
