I understand that there are two other major Boone lines in America, one to the New England area, and one who migrated from Barbados. I haven't checked back on either in some time, but I know there was a push for DNA for Y chromosomes from all three lines. My project is to track their descendants who came to Oregon before 1900. My cousin on our non-shared side is a descendant and that's what got me started.
