I remember Patty telling me that Lavinia used to smoke a pipe! They're very poor--Patty had photographed them from an album that belonged to someone else. But if you don't have others--they're great! Let me know the best way to get them to you. Is Robert Neil related to a Fred? I'll have to do some searching on this.

And you have siblings Rickie Lee and Jennifer Lynn! Found you in my database! But no info other than your name. Much of my info on the descendants of John James and Lavinia came from Patty Jones from Virginia about 12-15 years ago. Did you or your Dad ever know Patty? She died several years ago, I believe from cancer.

He was the son of John James Conner and his first wife Elizabeth Walter who died in childbirth in 1854 (Lavinia was his second). Actually I know nothing more about Elizabeth Walter. I show 14 children to John James and Lavinia--where do you fit in? Thanks for asking me to be your friend! Darlene
