If you are a genealogy expert, what are your specialties?

New York & England mostly, but I work all over the U.S. and have done some work in Italy. Expert is a relative term. Some would say I am and others would think not.

For what reason did you start genealogy research?

My mom got me hooked when I was a teenager - encouraged my curiosity and took me to family sights and libraries. That led to some classes in college and on from there.
