Chris, I see you and Ron How share an ancestor in Philip & Ann Fulford. You , That would make you, Ron and I, 5th or 6th cousins - not close relatives maybe but a proud and happy link none-the-less. While in Buckland Brewer last year I went out to North Hele to see and photograph Philip & Ann's place. I researched them and their descendents for as many generations as the Census records would allow. I felt it important to know something of the wider family to understand the context that helped shape my own ancestral line. I'm still looking into what possible set of circumstances motivated my Elizabeth to leave Buckland Brewer for Australia in 1833 at the age of 20. Till next time, go well. Ruth
