Hi Chris, Thank you so much for letting me join your Bailey page. The farthest back we can go on our Bailey side is Isham Bailey. He was born around 1753 in Albemarle County, Virginia and died in Kanawha County, Virginia in 1835. From there most of our Bailey line was in the Virginia/West Virginia area. Would love to hear from anyone that might come from this line.
Thanks, Chris. I know the William is mine. This is the first I've seen of George's birth, but how cool that you found it! I'm trying to find William's brothers, but it seems there are many Tom, George, Henry, and Johns... I'd love to find some living Baileys that are related before I visit at the first of next month. Also, I'll cut and paste the information from the other post...I guess I thought I'd posted it in the right place. I'll check again.
Thanks Chris. We have traced our Bailey's back to the Revolutionary War - and a bit further back. We have not found the connection to the old country as of yet. Daniel Bailey/Bayley Sr. was born in Middleton, MA 3 Mar 1728 - parents were Benjamin and Mary Parmenter Bailey formerly of Salem, MA. We do not know when & where Benjamin Bailey was born for certain, or his parents name.
