Every year or so, Lynell & I travel to my ancestral area of origin, Kassel, Hessen, Germany, where the Oberkalbach (both Lutheran & Reformierte) records are available back to 1653 on microfiche.

We have found hundreds of digital images on my ancestral family members. It was not a low-cost project.

Email karlmsala@msn.com when you are ready for pro' research. To discuss your case, please call 602-503-0775 = 1-888-456-7252 (both 24-hr #s)

My Ratliffs and Noellers came from the Germany area and my Ratliffs also came from Virginia. My Lawsons were in VA as were the Bells. As to which part of Virginia...I haven't nailed it down yet..the dates are in the 1700s
