Clayton's from Yorkshire and Birmingham

My own line of clayton's is from Leeds and surrounding areas but also in my tree are Clayton's from Birmingham Warwickshire. Is there a direct connection? or not?To me each family history is a beautiful tapestry woven through time and the threads that join each together are truly golden threads. Finding the golden threads is my aim. let's do it together.See More

James Purcell's father I believe was from Kilkenny, Ireland. His fathers name was Antony Metzger (Anthony Metzger) born in Germany. I had my husband & brother both do tests on Family Tree & it is believed that my mother's Irish line & my husband's Irish line are way back cousins but I'll probably never be able to make the connection.
