I see you are researching Mackie. My late mother-in-law's maiden name was Mackie and I am working on her line. I am in South Africa, so my resources are limited, but here is what I have so far:
James Mackie *c1868 x Agnes Burns *c 1869 married Glasgow 31.1.1890
- Robert Mackie * c1891 x Ada Elizabeth Sutherst * 1887 W. Derby, England, + 1974 East Renfrew married 3.3.1916 Govan Hill, Glasgow
- Edith Mackie * 26.3.1928 Glasgow + 1965 Milnerton, South Africa x Archibald Gillis Kay 27.8.1954 Glasgow
If you have any info to add to this, I would be most gratefull.
I notice you've set up a new West Country but you might not have realised that most of those counties already have groups. There is a full listing in the England group. It is a closed group and you won't see the list unless you join. I wonder if it might be more appropriate just to start new groups for the counties which don't yet have groups such as Cornwall and Somerset which don't yet have groups as we will end up with a lot of duplication of effort. You can delete a group a start again. Let me know if I can be of any help.

There's a listing of county groups on the england group you might find helpful.
