Hello, I found your Cruwys One Name Study and have followed it off and on since 2006. Thank you so very much for all your hard work. I have been looking into my family history for myself and in honor of my late father Paul Stanley Cruwys who passed away at the age of 45. He was the 2nd son of William Betts Cruwys,my biological grandfather, who has been linked to the P.E.I. branch of the Cruwys last name study and who died this February. I also found The Cruwys Genealogy Face Book page recently and was shocked to see the Cape Cod Paper Obituary and saw no mention of any of my known Cruwys relatives, all decendants of William Betts Cruwys. I have no contact with any of the older Cruwys side of my family such as my grandfather.I did however, contact Donald Cruwys (my fathers bio uncle and William Betts Brother) by phone and spoke with his daughter in 2009. I reached out to find out about my family medical history on my father's side due to rare health issues that are genetic and did find some, but not much information. That was the only contact I have had throughout my life. I had contact with my uncle William Cruwys, Jr(1st son), his wife Claire and his four children William Cruwys III, Jennifer Cruwys, Timothy Cruwys and Jessica Cruwys in my life on and off from MASS. USA.(4 bio grandchildren) I have met my Uncle Mark Cruwys (3rd son of William Betts Cruwys) and I am aware of his three boys (3 bio grandchildren) who live in Maine USA whom I have never met. I am Paul Stanley Cruwys' only biological child. He adopted my older sister Brandy Cruwys and younger brother Brenden Cruwys. I have my father's death records and my own birth certificate. I am a true Cruwys, as was my father and his 2 brothers and all of their children, we are decedents. My father was proud to be of the Cruwys name as am I. I want only to know where I come from and to honor my father's name. I want to share this information with my children that I plan to have some day. I realize that it seems odd to have no contact or information about my roots. Your one name study was my first source and has helped me put some of this puzzle together.I hope that any information I can give or add to your work will help you as well as myself. I thank you for reading this as I know you are a very busy women. Your work has helped me in many ways on my road to who I am, GOD BLESS
