Brenda, Good to see your Brinson connection. I am from GGF Josiah Brinson, GF Hardy Brinson, GM Rebecca Paralee Brinson Carter. I have tried to find out what happened to Josiah. He was married to Angeline Ammons. Not on the 1860 Census but I think it was burned. By 1870, Hardy is living with his Ammons grandparents and no word on Angeline (not uncommon on the 1870 census). I found a marriage record where Angeline married James Gleason in Caddo parish in 1875. Would really like to find out what happened to Josiah. Was he killed in the Civil War, where is he buried etc??? Just trying to find out what happened to him. I would love to hear from you. Warm Regards, Larry Harvey, West Columbia SC
