Russ, I still have 10.0.0.179. There is no update for this. When I do Check for Update, FTM2010 says I have the latest. When I try to run the update, I won't apply the update. Any suggestions?

For what reason did you start genealogy research?: A friend gave me a copy of FTM for DOS, which I loaded onto a PC that I built. I became engrossed with genealogy and have been ever since. When my mother-in-law found out about my interest, she shared their family history research and before she passed away turned over the reins of family historian to me.

I have made some inroads into these families but in genealogy, our work is never done! Found out that there was a large community of Germans that had immigrated to Canada and many never left. My great great uncle Carl Sack and his wife Wilhelmine Pufahl were just two that stayed, and also, most of their children. I am still working on details regarding their children.
